Operations Manager (Food Industry - DAVAO)

  • Directly Supervises: Area Supervisors / Store Supervisors / Store Staff / 3rd Party Manpower Coordinators (Corporate and Franchise branches)

Basic Functions:

  • Responsible for the overall management and day
  • to day operations of all stores, their facilities/structures/buildings / security; Liaises with 3rd party manpower coordinators; Executes all special projects and events / and all other business segments assigned to.
  • Responsible for the overall Profitability and Sales performance of all stores.
  • Ensures that all stores operate efficiently while maintaining the company’s reputation, market standing, brand target and image and corporate core principles.
  • Ensures effective coordination of a variety of activities with various department heads in support of the operating stores. Ensures that company Standards of Operations, policies and processes are strictly and consistently implemented system-wide.
  • Maintaining high standards of product quality, customer service, cleanliness (QSC), facilities and building upkeep, maintenance and repair (FM - aesthetics, design, image, functionality, comfort, sustainability, efficiency), health and safety protocols (OSH compliance), pest control management (IPM) across all stores and other business segments.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Food Science, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proven experience in food industry operations management specializing Bread and Pastry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate teams.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards, including food safety and quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve production processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software tools and systems to manage production schedules, inventory, and logistics.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial reports, with a focus on cost control and revenue growth.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to manage unforeseen challenges and issues.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
