Job Position : Offshore Civil Engineer
Visa Type : Specified Skilled Worker (SSW)
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 24-35 years old
- Must be Bachelor’s degree in 4-year course in
Marine Civil Engineering or Marine Transportation (Supported by authenticated
copy of diploma and transcript of records)
- At least 1 yr exp. In Construction
Management/ Deck officer or Cadet
- Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply with at least 6- months year OJT experience
- Preferably N4 passer
- Male
Skill requirements:
Ø Site
Management
·
Manage progress of construction by using
tape measure, survey equipment, cameras etc.
·
Check dimension of structure
·
Check quality of materials
·
Cleaning up the construction site
Ø Maintenance
work
·
Daily safety and maintenance work for work
vessel.
·
Cleaning up hull, machinery. If necessary
program such as painting, welding,etc.
Ø Winch work
·
Can operate winch equipped
on work vessels or assist with winch work to place heavy objects and structures
at sea.
Ø Concrete
Placing Work
·
With co-worker, perform concrete placing work at
sea to the structures such as breakwater from work vessels supporting hoses and
using vibrators for concrete compaction.
Ø
Specific works at sea and on work vessels
· Mooring work for work vessels
·
Slinging work to lift heavy objects such as
concrete blocks.
